Expect a big season for last year's 8th overall pick, RB Bijan Robinson. The Atlanta Falcons' new offensive coordinator, Zac Robinson, plans to use Bijan similarly to how the 49ers utilize their star running back, Christian McCaffrey.
The 49ers' offense revolves around McCaffrey, and the Falcons intend to do the same with Robinson. Robinson had a solid rookie season, especially early on, which put him in the conversation for Offensive Rookie of the Year. However, there were several games where Falcons fans wondered why Robinson wasn't being used more. This season, Robinson will be the focal point of the offense, eliminating such concerns.
This is a bold claim, but the Falcons' offense is not far behind that of the 49ers, which has been among the best in the NFL for the past two seasons.
The Falcons have young superstars on the offensive side of the ball primed for a breakout season now that they have added veteran QB Kirk Cousins. The upside of the Falcons' offense is on the rise because of moves in free agency and the draft.
The Falcons should be the favorites to win the NFC South.
